You will be prompted to choose how far out you want updates on this event to show up on your calendar (if at all). If you'd like the event to show up on your calendar, tap "Yes" and you're all set.

- On the left sidebar of your Gmail screen, go to “New Meeting”
- A pop-up will appear where you can enter the meeting title and a time slot. If you have already created the meeting in Google Calendar or another email client, you will see it listed there instead.
- Click on “Continue” at the bottom of this pop up window and proceed with adding attendee emails addresses. You can either type them in one by one or copy and paste the list from a document
- Once you have added all the necessary attendees, write a message to your invitees in the “Message” field and then click on “Send”

- At the top of your screen, click on the blue More button (it has three vertical dots). This will bring up more options for how to interact with this message including "Accept" and "Decline."

- The person who's email you opened will get a notification that you have accepted their invite! If they haven't created a Google Calendar, then it may still be necessary to send them an invite from one of your other methods mentioned in this article.

If you are having trouble viewing meeting invites on your phone, try these troubleshooting tips.
- Open up the Gmail app and go to Settings by clicking on the gear icon in the top right corner of your screen.
- Scroll down until you see "Calendar" and make sure that it is turned on. If it's not on, simply tap on it to turn it on.
- Open up your Calendar app and click on "Google." Make sure that you are logged into the same Google account as Gmail.
